The band was launched on the 26th March 2016, and it was a very successful night with a full house. Many turned up to see a new modern country music band and thats exactly what they got! There is nothing else like Wrecking Ball here in the UK. Some comments made were........

"Outstanding, heads above most of what i have seen before......this group should be headlining or at the least supporting concerts.....festivals etc....five tremendous artists 2 lead vocals and harmonies that were totally nailed......the group is new and a little and only a little work needed on set up and sound....But the performance was proffesional .....they will go places and ideal for festivals or concerts... OMG how refreshing Nashville brought to Crewkerne even the tip bucket...LOL...we are honored to have been invited to a masterclass of musicianship of real modern country music......WATCH THESE GUYS !!!!!!!!!"

I went to the Park Hotel to watch and listen to Wrecking Ball, a new band and venue for me. Neither disappointed!
Wrecking Ball are a band I'd not heard before, but liked the sound of the MP3s on this page. I wasn't sure whether the Country would be all Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, I needn't have worried it was Modern Country, far more rocky than I'd expected - that's always a good sign for me. The band covered a wide range of artists from Johnny Cash, John Denver through to Keith Urban and Chris Janson, as well as the ones mentioned below.
With Mark and Nick on vocals you could hear every word, much more important when you don't know the songs yourself. It's hard for me to narrow down the review to just two or three songs. The easiest way is to say I'm going to go to i-tunes for Eric Church and Chris Stapleton. Of these two, new to me, artists I think Creepin' by Eric Church and Parachute by Chris Stapleton were my favourites. Of the covers that I recognised one of my all time favourites was played, and these guys played it well, that was Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Yep! Great music at the Beach last night. Loads better than the average Friday music merry-go-round at the Exmouth pubs. Love this sort of music and such a serious lack of it. So well done from me. Only disappointment for me - is I cant see any future bookings this neck of the woods till next March (I think)....but will keep checking. Cheers

Well, that was competition for C2C at the Opry tonight with a fantastic band called Wrecking Ball. The house was rockin'! Hope they come back soon.

What a fantastic night with a new group for the Opry tonight Wrecking Ball I just loved the whole night they were amazing. The place was jumping. They are fantastic musicians and played a great choice of songs. I hope to see Wrecking Ball back in the Opry soon x

We had such a brill night lost count of the standing ovations for these guys the quality of their musicianship was well outstanding!!! No one left the floor and kept shouting for more think we had to call it a night after 3 more but we will have them back the Scots demand it lol xxx Thanks so much for making it up Mark it was really appreciated and tell the guys a big thank you to all of them

Brilliant band would definitely recommend checking them out. Mark has an amazing voice, born to be a country singer.

I've seen a couple of country bands in the past but nothing compares to Wrecking Ball

Not only a fantastic voice, put the best live band to dance along with.

This band is fantastic believe me if you don't like country you will after listening to them the best outside of Nashville and that's the truth.
